Juan Martinez

Hi, I’m Juan Martinez, director of Spark Volleyball Club.  Laurie Culligan and I started Spark back in 2012.  My journey began with Delta Valley in the early 2000’s coaching my daughters.  I then moved to Rage when it was just beginning and took the 14-1 to Nationals in Miami, Fl.

I coached for Chavez High school while both my daughters played there.  I then took the varsity position at Stagg high school.

My passion for coaching has given me many opportunities.  

Investing your time and giving of yourself ignores back aches, sore arms, and tired feet when the reward is watching girls turn into confident young women who aren’t afraid of what’s ahead.  I am there for our players. If I can contribute towards them achieving their dream, then I’ve done my job.
